Here it is, my first step into the world of robotics. As the name implies, I used an Arduino microcontroller for this robot.
It uses an Arduino Uno board to control an ultrasonic sensor and
two continuous rotating servos. The robot is powered by a 9V battery for
the microcontroller, and a 6v battery pack for the servos. I prefer to use
separate batteries for the microcontroller and the motors.
The ultrasonic sensor is mounted on a micro servo. This allows INO to "turn its head" while looking for obstacles. The most recent modification to this robot is a microswitch mounted in the front (in case INO misses an obstacle, the switch will trigger and INO will reverse).
